An unusual event was recorded at the "Adem Sheme" school in Saranda. A 14-year-old went to the 6th grade yesterday and threatened the students and the teacher with a pistol.
This was not the first time that the children of this school are afraid to go to school because of threats and bullying from the 14-year-old.
Today, the parents of some students went to the police station to find a solution, as they protested together with a group of students who boycotted the lesson, as they do not have security for their lives.
Some teachers have also joined today's boycott of children's lessons.
"Last night at the fifth hour of the lesson, according to the information, the child named Leo from the children's side suddenly opened the door and entered with a tool that the children called a pistol, which they say is black and was filling. He opened the door and addressed the first teacher and told the children to raise their hands. For a minute or a minute and a half. The teacher, after this person left, this student from the class contacted the principal and we have information from time to time, as they have told us and the parents: Don't talk, Don't bully him. Don't laugh at him, because he doesn't do anything to him, but it happened a week ago, he threatened the children with a knife, on the 6th or 7th, I don't remember. He kept them for 45 minutes when a subject teacher was absent, kept the same children isolated and did not let them go out even to go to the toilet., said one of the parents in a statement to the media.
"To some extent, they kept us a secret. A week ago, someone caught the director and told him. We were also today at the police station where we filed a report, and the psychologists have been to the center and they have told us that this is not the first time. at school, 6-7 year olds teach with 18 year olds and the teacher tells them not to go to the toilet because I won't come after you. They should have security because we are at home and the children are at school. When we have Leo with a knife. Boycott "Ours has started today, the end is not near. Our group will begin to expand until the presidency, the prime minister's office and the ministry of education ," says another parent.
The problem was also acknowledged by the Minister of Education Evis Kushi today in the Education Commission, emphasizing that the case is being verified and measures will be taken, even though she said that it is claimed that it is a toy pistol.
"The information came to us since last night. It is claimed to have been a toy gun. We have referred it to the competent bodies. The school told us that the pistol was a toy pistol. Even if it was so, it is still a serious act. The boy belongs to the children's home, so an inter-institutional meeting was held today. He was even asked to be transferred. As soon as we have official information from the police, we will definitely take measures. It is a very delicate case that this child has had problems over the years, so we will follow with more priority", said the minister.
