Nearly 130,000 undeclared euros were found, 2 bus drivers of the Bari-Durres

It was struck at the entrance to the port of Durrës, another case of failure to declare a large amount of euros. Thanks to the coded police operation "Line", 125,050 euros were seized and 2 bus drivers of the Bari-Durres line were arrested.  

"The Durrës-Bari-Durrës bus, which was driven by the citizens DM, 53 years old, resident of Vlora and JO, 31 years old, resident of Fier, was passed to the second line, for a more detailed check. During the check on the bus, under the 2 seats, 67,460 euros were found attached with natriban," the police announced.  

During the physical check, 9,500 euros were found on the DM citizen, while 48,090 euros were found on the JO citizen. A total of 125,050 euros were seized as material evidence.  

At the end of the first investigative actions, the specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Durrës arrested in flagrante delicto the citizens of DM and JO, for the criminal offenses of "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity" and "Failure to declare at the border of money and valuables" and the materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Durrës Judicial District Court.
