The Council of Ministers has approved the coverage of medical expenses for Erion Vishkulli, allocating a fund of 5 million lek for his treatment.

The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, as well as the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund, are responsible for implementing this decision.

Decision of the Council of Ministers:

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution, of Law No. 87/2025, “On the 2026 Budget”, as amended, and pursuant to Decision No. 36, dated 21.1.2026, of the Council of Ministers, “On the financing of hospital health services from the mandatory health care insurance scheme for 2026”, with the proposal of the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

1. Covering the medical expenses of Erion Vishkulli, in the amount of 5,000,000 (five million) lekë.

2. This fund is covered by the Compulsory Health Care Insurance Fund.

3. Payment is made upon presentation of the relevant invoices from the treatment institution.

4. The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund are responsible for the implementation of this decision.

This decision takes effect immediately.
