Hans Flick

Hansi Flick is not affected, the coach of Germany, beyond the failure in "Qatar 2022", will remain in office at least until the end of "Euro 2024"

In the statement of the German Football Association it is written:

"DFB President Bernd Neuendorf, DFB Vice President Hans-Joachim Watzke and national team coach Hans Flick had a friendly and constructive discussion today on the current situation and prospects of the German national football team. Bernd Neuendorf explains:

"We are all convinced that the 2024 European Championship in our country represents a great opportunity for football in Germany. Our aim is to turn this tournament into a sporting success. We have full faith in Hansi Flick, who will succeed in this challenge together with his team. Regarding Oliver Bierhoff's successor, we have agreed that we will first discuss the future structure of this area of responsibility within the DFB and then make a personal decision."
