One of the most fit Albanian strikers, Cristian Shpendi, has given an interview to "Pianeta Bianconero", where he says that he was waiting for Albania's invitation, but something like that did not come.

The Cesena player said he would consider a call from Italy.

"To tell the truth, I thought I would be invited by the Albanian national team for the two League of Nations matches. I was disappointed to see that I was not on the list. I was born and raised in Italy. I have never received a phone call from Italy, but if it does, I would certainly think about it."
