The two victories in the Euro 2024 qualifiers have made Albania rise in the FIFA rankings. In the world classification for the month of June, the Reds and Blacks find themselves in 65th place, gaining three positions from the previous position.

The success with Moldova and the triumph on the field of the Faroe Islands, in addition to keeping alive the hopes of the National team to secure a ticket to the biggest continental event, means that Sylvinho's team leaves behind Cape Verde, Iceland and North Macedonia.

The news was not so good for Kosovo. The Dardanians lost one position and now find themselves 108th in the world classification published by FIFA. The cause was the poor performance in the qualifying group of the European Championship. First, Kosovo drew goalless at home with Romania and then was surprisingly defeated by Belarus, with the result 2-1. With only 3 points collected after 4 games, Dardans have said a premature goodbye to their dreams of participating in the first major event in history.

As for the head of the ranking, Argentina remains the world champion, followed by France and Brazil who complete the podium. Next are England, Belgium, Croatia, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal and the Top 10 is closed by Spain.
