The sports director of Inter, Piero Ausilio, has asked for the midfielder of Lecce, Ylber Ramadani in the last few matches.
This is according to the Italian newspaper PianetaLecce, which reports that the leader of the "Nerazzurri" followed the 27-year-old both to Lecce and to the Albanian national team.
Ramadani has started a very positive start of the season for Lece. The Giallorossi have been one of the early surprise teams of the season.
Despite Lecce selling Morten Hjulmand to Sporting CP in the summer, with the Dane arguably their standout player last season, the Calabrian side have hardly suffered a drop.
On the contrary, the new midfield of Lecce has been one of the strong points of the team under the guidance of coach Roberto D'Aversa.
This is partly due to the form of the player who replaced Hjulmand.
Ramadani was the player Leçe signed to replace Hjulmand in the summer.
The Giallorossi signed the Albanian footballer from the Scottish Premier League team Aberdeen.
Ramadan had played for several clubs outside Europe's top five leagues before his last season in Scotland.
But this was enough to convince the sports director of Lecce, Pantaleo Corvino, that the Albanian had the right qualities to climb to Serie A.
