Francesco Bagnaia was just 12 years old when Valentino Rossi won his last title in 2009, and this Sunday he triumphed in MotoGP, bringing back the title in Italy on a Ducati.

While it took 13 years for an Italian pilot to win in MotoGP, for the Ducati engine the last triumph happened 15 years ago, when the engine was driven at that time by Stoner.

Meanwhile, 50 years have passed since an Italian driver won on an Italian motorcycle.
