Erling Haaland passed this summer's market from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City for the amount of 60 million euros.
However, an interesting agreement has been reached between the teams, due to which the German club has not received a single euro from the transfer until now.
In previously undisclosed details of the contract, City and Borussia reached an agreement for the transfer payment to be made in four installments. The first is due in July 2023 and then an additional figure will be paid each year until 2026.
Because of this, even Haaland's former clubs did not get their share of the cake and will have to wait until next summer. This has been confirmed by the Bryne team in Norway. "We have not received any money for the transfer. The reason is the agreement between the clubs. The payment will only be made in July next year," said Bryne's general manager Hans Oyvind Sagen.
