Will he buy the Manchester United club? Elon Musk says he was joking

Elon Musk

The head of the Tesla company, Elon Musk, stirred up the sports world after he wrote on his Twitter account that he would buy the English football club, Manchester United.

But when asked by a user, Musk replied that he would not do such a thing and that he was joking.

His post caused excitement among English fans, as the club is in a deep crisis of results after the first two matches of the championship, where the transfer market has not been of high quality.

Many fans have protested in recent years against the American Glazer family, who bought the club in 2005, because of the difficulties the team is going through.

Junajtid is in the last place of the classification with 0 points, the worst ranking in decades for the "Red Devils".
