Sensational! Former President Barack Obama may buy an NBA team
Former President Barack Obama

A sensational news from America: Barack Obama is involved in a consortium that wants to buy the Phoenix Suns. During a podcast former sports journalist and founder of the site "The Ringer", Bill Simmons, was talking about ownership of NBA teams with Charles Barkley, when he dropped the 'bombshell'.

"I heard Obama is part of a group of investors looking to take over Phoenix." Barkley, the Suns' star from 1992 to 1996, immediately jumped at the chance: "If Obama called me, I'd say, 'Yeah, screw him.' I admire that man a lot."

That man is 61 years old, was elected president of the USA in November 2008 and stayed in the White House until 2016. He has always said that he loves basketball, but he has a problem, he is a fan of the Chicago Bulls.

"I get paid well, but I don't have $4 billion," Barkley said. That's the figure it's rumored to take to take the team from majority shareholder Robert Sarver.
