Zelensky decorates Spiropal with the highest honor in Ukraine

As part of the 34th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence, the country's President Volodymyr Zelensky has decorated 14 senior political figures from the US and European countries for their unwavering support for the Ukrainian people and cooperation with official Kiev in times of war.

Among the honorees is the Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, Elisa Spiropali, who was awarded the High State Prize "Order of Princess Olga, First Class".

This is one of the highest honors given to women for special merits in supporting the Ukrainian state and society.

The news was made public by the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk through a post on social media, where he said: "Thank you to each of you, our dear friends, members of the great parliamentary family, for the well-deserved awards given to you by President Zelensky, on behalf of the Ukrainian people!"

This decoration comes as a sign of gratitude for Albania's stance in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the continuous parliamentary cooperation at international levels.
