The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, reacted today to the decision of judge Erjon Çela. Meta accused the judge of acting as a "notary of SPAK" and not as a representative of justice.

While describing the decision not to release him from the security measure as a "public fraud", built on the claim that his release as party leader could intimidate witnesses to the case, Meta says that this argument is untrue.

According to him, the witnesses mentioned by SPAK are not members of the Freedom Party.

Ilir Meta's full reaction:

"It would not be worth dealing publicly with Erjon Çela, who, even though he is paid as a judge, is only the notary of SPAK for the third time, against me but also against the due legal process that he must guarantee as a judge. But I cannot remain silent in the face of a brazen deception to write from him, according to the dictates of "Aegemenshit" (Altin Dumani), precisely the alibi that my release due to my function as President of the Freedom Party could lead to the intimidation of the alleged witnesses, who are members of the Freedom Party.

I emphasize that apart from Mr. Petrit Vasili, none of the other SPAK witnesses is a member of the Freedom Party today. 1. Endrit Brahimllari, also thanks to Duman, is universally known that he has become a staunch "renaissance" and was on the list of deputies of the Socialist Party.
2. Erion Brahimllari, has been dismissed from the Freedom Party since January 2024 for suspicious activities and is part of "Rilindja". He was even the counter of her votes in the last elections for the Socialist Party.

3. Elena Gaçe, the former financier of SMI for 20 years since its establishment, has left in a strange way in the spring of 2024 and without handing over her task with much responsibility, for which she has also been publicly called several times at that time. According to herself, she was employed in the business of Endrit (Braimllari). 4. Mrs. Mirela Merko, former chief financial officer of SMI 10 years ago. For 6 years it has not been part of the SMI, but it is part of the public administration. 5. Mr. Luan Rama, former Secretary General of SMI, self-departed since August 2021.

So, this accusation and surprisingly, but not so strangely, shamelessly confirmed by the notary who is paid as a judge is a public fraud that seeks to justify my hostage-taking in the interest of Edi Rama's mafia regime. We will maintain confidentiality until the preliminary trial session and then we will make public all the frauds of "Proximity" and all the living things of the regime, which are supposedly "living evidence" but which in fact have nothing against Ilir Meta. While the fraudulent creatures of the regime will be in the judgment of public opinion every day for their frauds and the problems they have with the law and the truth.

This supposedly "living evidence" of "Proximity" will be the real proof of the judicial farce of the century: ZERO evidence, ZERO criminal facts and ZERO witnesses against Ilir Meta. The Freedom Party must escalate the denunciation of Edi Rama's screaming corrupt affairs and his main affair: Capturing Justice." - writes Meta.
