Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi revealed today the opposition's protest strategy.
During his speech at the protest organized today by the DP in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Këlliçi said that the opposition will hold rallies in front of the Prime Minister's Office every week.
"Therefore, I invite you to come together here every week to tell the great truths that neither the captured people, nor the captured politicians, nor the captured media have the courage to do. Thank you all and see you at the next protest," said Këlliçi, among other things.
Këlliçi stressed that this form of protests will lead to the overthrow of Prime Minister Edi Rama's government, just as, according to him, the protests in front of Tirana City Hall led Mayor Erion Veliaj to prison.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, described the protest as "the first day of parliament for citizens", announcing that it would be held every week to listen to public concerns.
Berisha has announced that immediately after the protest, an internal analysis and a field listening tour will be launched to strengthen the connection with citizens.
The Democratic Party is preparing an internal referendum and will appeal the gender equality law to the Constitutional Court, challenging approval only by majority vote.
