The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during his speech at the opposition protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, declared that the protest will continue "until the free vote of Albanians is restored." He stated that "there is no force in the world that can stop this mission," thanking supporters for their commitment over the last four years.

Berisha harshly attacked the government and accused Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku of “attempting to destroy the Albanian family.” Referring to the law on legal equality and gender identity, he described it as “Soros’ law,” which he claimed “destroys the family” and is part of the “campaign of left-wing extremists for gender reassignment.”

"We will be here until the return of the free vote of Albanians. There is no more sacred mission. There is no force in the world that will stop us from this mission. Honors to you who have been engaged in every battle for 4 years, the most difficult, but who entered and triumphed over every enemy of pluralism in Albania.

We are against the Soros law, which destroys the family. Left-wing extremists undertook the most unimaginable gender reassignment campaign. The law with which injustice was established. The law with which President Trump was charged with 35 charges and fines. That law was voted by the parliament. We will never accept it!

The Albanian family will remain the most sacred institution of Albanians. This family Edi Rama and 'Lubia' seek to destroy. This family will be protected at all costs! ", he said.
