The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, delivered his speech at the protest organized today by the opposition in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
During his speech, Berisha stated that the opposition is protesting against the mafia state, in front of what he described as the Palace of Crime (the Prime Minister's Office), within which, according to him, the dictator Edi Rama resides.
Berisha also added that during his government, Rama has sown poverty throughout Albania and depopulated the country.
He also said that the opposition's efforts for free elections have been confronted by the euros of organized crime, state resources, and the team of patronage agents.
"My friends, freedom came as a war, which you cannot stop with any effort. If you dare to block it, it will open a channel. Precisely, this is the civic platform that we inaugurate today in front of the palace of crime, in front of the palace of state crime against the Albanian state, its replacement with the narco-state.
Before the palace of human crime against Albanians, who with his attitudes expelled from Albania during the years of his government, more than any savage conqueror in the entire national history. Before the palace that in a monstrous crime against Albanians, reduced them and returned them 100 years later. Before the palace that has inside the dictator, the sultan and sultana, Edvin and Belinda, the lubits who, with their thefts and plunder, have sown poverty in this country, like in no other country on the continent.
"The opposition's efforts for elections and rotation of power were faced with tons of drug euros, with the terrorist army of vote patronage, with all the financial, human, logistical, and all-round resources of the mafia state, only that rotation, their removal from power is fear and horror from the crimes they have committed," said Berisha.
In his speech to the protesters at the Prime Minister's Office, Sali Berisha stated that the Second Floor aims to save Albania from the criminal regime.
"So, to understand the mission a little, open your eyes as it has been surrounded by police, guards and soldiers. Rama, you are hopeless. Edvin, your end will come from this square ," he said.
The leader of the Democrats added that every week serious affairs of this drug regime are revealed, which according to him is rotten and only awaits the momentum of citizens to crumble.
"This week showed that this rotten edifice is crumbling and awaits our momentum, our anger to erase it from history. This same week, in the safest, supposed place, the massacre, when government gangs liquidate other government gangs. What culminated in the positions of the narco-state was the closure of the narco-parliament. Rama and his gang, born from vote-rigging, its robbery, born from drug money, the biggest corrupt affairs, are afraid of the opposition's word. So they chose to protect themselves against you by imposing darkness, obscurity.
In 10 parliamentary sessions, the opposition was allowed to debate only in one. In 10 sessions, the government, composed of individuals linked to crime, was voted for 28 minutes to show that it is afraid, terrified of you. It cannot appear before you. In 10 sessions, the request for the election commission was rejected, which was proven to be a farce by the international community. The request for the McGonigal commission was rejected, since Rama is equally guilty. The interpellation with the Minister of Health was rejected ,” Berisha said.
