The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has described the statement made by journalist Arjan Curri last night on Top Story as untrue.
Curri, referring to the PS-PD political agreements, said that Balla and Gazment Bardhi enter a secret room and make dark agreements.
"I have spoken about a secret room in Parliament, where Taulant Balla and Gazment Bardhi occasionally enter, when they cannot talk on the phone, and there they make dark agreements, which are against the public interest and the Albanians," Curri said last night on Top Channel.
But this statement has been described as a fabrication by Taulant Balla, who writes on Facebook that: "The dinner bells, when there is no quarrel in the Assembly, remain unspoiled, while agreement for the sake of Albania's interest is called treason."
In the end, the senior socialist official emphasizes that citizens should trust journalists' reports and not those from the "armchair".
Balla's post
A very experienced journalist calls this type of person an armchair eater, because instead of reporting the news, as hard-working and less-paid field journalists do, they fabricate fake news from their armchairs.
The 'shushunjat' of dinner, when there is no quarrel in the Assembly, remain unspoiled, while agreement for the sake of Albania's interest is called treason.
Therefore, it is recommended not to be misinformed by the diner-counter gluttons. Trust the reporting of journalists.
