Albanian students and citizens from North Macedonia submitted a petition to the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs this Friday against the dismissal of the Albanian ambassador to the RMV, Denion Meidani.

Asked by Top Channel, "Macedonia Press" journalist and one of the initiators of the petition, Nevrij Ademi, revealed that two thousand signatures have been collected.

This is the second petition submitted to the Ministry, after a first one submitted online a few days ago, with over 3 thousand signatures.

The students also requested a meeting with Minister Hoxha, but according to the cabinet, he was on an official trip.

"We had an ambassador who took care of Albanians in the RMV and to do this, at this moment when students have been brought to their feet... imagine how much of a 'blow' it is for the students," said Ademi.

The journalist also added that Meidani was unaware of the petition and claims that he found out about it from online statuses.

On the other hand, there is still no official response regarding taking the bar exams in Albanian.
