Prime Minister Edi Rama has undertaken a tour today, stopping in the city of Fier to talk about the Albanian economy and the budget approved by his government for 2024.
Rama said that from next year, the average salary in Albania will be 900 euros. He said that Albania's economy has shown resistance and that today it is better than it has ever been.
"The economy is better than it's ever been. Should it be better? Of course. Let's come to the state budget, because everyone has the right to say I'm not doing anything. Next year we will raise the average salary to 900 euros. Let's not forget that one of the most stubborn facts about the progress I'm talking about is the stubbornness of the lek. Indeed, we have increased the minimum wage to 400,000 lek, compared to before when it was 300, 200... it is more", said Rama.
But while he was explaining the budget, the prime minister's signal was cut off, causing the transmission to be interrupted for several minutes on his Facebook.
