The request that the SP Parliamentary Group submitted today (November 3) to the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, for the expulsion of three opposition MPs, following the tensions that occurred in the November 2 plenary session, has been clarified.

The SP group has demanded disciplinary action against MPs Ervin Salianji , Petrit Doda , Edmond Spaho .

"At the beginning of the session, MP Ervin Salianji occupied the podium, preventing the normal development of the plenary proceedings, and helped by MPs Petrit Doda and Edmond Spaho lit some flares in the session hall. As an employee of the Republic Guard tried to remove the flame, Mr. Salianji threw a chair at him. These actions continued throughout the plenary session, making its normal development impossible", the request states.

Dear Madam President of the Assembly,

In the session of 02.11.2023, the opposition MPs for the umpteenth time, in serious violation of the Rules of the Assembly and the Code of Conduct of the Deputy of the Assembly of Albania, prevented the regular development of the plenary proceedings, removing the chairs from their seats. to the deputies of the majority and placed as a barricade in front of the pulpit, blocking it as well as using pyrotechnic materials (flames) in the Parliament hall.

The above, based on article 63, point 1 letter d), and article 65/1 of the Regulation of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania and on article 3, letters dh) and ë), article 8, point 2 letter b) and article 33 of the Code of Conduct of the Deputy of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, we present the request as follows:

- Taking disciplinary measures against MPs Ervin Salianji , Petrit Doda , Edmond Spaho .

Meeting of the Secretariat for Procedures , Voting and Ethics for the evaluation of the disciplinary measure.
