The 'Open Balkan' summit will start today with Belgrade, where the agreement on trade without food restrictions is expected to be finalized.
This will completely unblock trade between the states of the Open Balkans, so as not to repeat the situation when, due to the war in Ukraine, Serbia blocked grain for Albania and North Macedonia oil.
In addition to the leaders of the countries that have created this initiative, the prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama, the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the prime minister of Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, officials from Hungary and Turkey will also participate in the meeting in Belgrade.
It is learned that they will host the Foreign Minister of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, and the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Çavuşoğlu.
Meanwhile, as in the last meeting of this initiative, held in Ohrid, the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers in Bosnia-Herzegovina from the ranks of the Serbian community, Zoran Tegeltija, will be present.
