The head of the "Freedom Party", Ilir Meta, has commented on the dismissal of the general director of the state police, Gladis Nano.

In his speech to the media, Meta said that the dismissal of Nano was a strange but usual decision by the Rama government.

"A strange but now common decision. At a time when higher political responsibilities were expected. It is clear that another scapegoat was made. 10 months ago it was enthusiastically promoted as a new and hopeful trend. I don't believe there is a naive person in this country to believe that the director of the police until yesterday or 10 years ago, from the moment Rama became prime minister, the director and his performance have been the problem. They shake their heads with each other. Everyone knows that the ties of the gangs are direct with the prime minister", said Meta

Gladis Nano was dismissed from his post as Director General of the State Police.

The decision was taken after the meeting of the ministers, while it was made public by the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi himself, who linked the dismissal of Gladis Nano to the non-fulfillment of the set objectives.
