Today in the Assembly, the replacement members of the committees are appointed!

The Assembly is meeting today to appoint replacement members to parliamentary committees. At the same time, following the acts of violence in the Assembly today, a civic protest has been announced.

In the last session, the Parliament was also involved in fierce debates after the DP's request to extend the term of the special commission on 'Territorial' was rejected by a majority vote. Afterwards, the Democratic MP Luciano Bociano did not allow the co-chairman Arbjan Mazniku to present the SP report and the opposition blocked the normal continuation of the proceedings.

The session was interrupted 4 times and did not even reach discussions on the agenda as the deputies spoke only on procedure. After 5 hours of debate without any mention of the agenda, 7 draft resolutions of constitutional institutions, 2 normative acts and 15 draft laws were voted by the majority amidst chaos and calls from the opposition on the podium for the resignation of Prime Minister Rama.

Gazment Bardhi was expelled from the session after throwing water at the head of the government Rama. The non-participation in the vote of two socialist deputies, Braçe and Spiropali, on the normative act that gave 4.3 million euros to the American singer Kanye West, was conspicuous. The Assembly also approved a plenary session on July 30.

Agenda

I. Meeting of the Assembly in plenary session on 27.7.2026, 10:00.

II. The agenda of the plenary session is as follows:

1. Approval of the minutes of the plenary session of 23.7.2026.

2. Notifications.

3. Draft decision "On an amendment to decision no. 87/2026, "On the appointment of substitute members in the composition of the permanent committees of the Assembly", as amended".

III. The services of the Assembly are charged with publishing the agenda of the plenary session, notifying the members of the Assembly through electronic means of communication, and preparing the parliamentary documentation to be reviewed.

IV. This order shall enter into force immediately.
