The deputy of DP, Jorida Tabaku, has sent a letter to the director of the board of ERE, Petri Ahmeti, where she asks for an urgent meeting to review the decision of a week ago for the increase in energy proposed by the government for the band above 800 kW.

In the letter, Tabaku has once again identified the reasons for the increase in the price of energy and at the same time requested that, based on the new facts, an urgent meeting of the ERE board should be held to prevent the increase in the price of energy for 100,000 families. According to Tabak, it was proven that the decision taken by the government was abusive.

"The increase in the price of energy for Albanian families was unfounded and politically motivated without any in-depth study, as was proven further. The decision taken by the government and ERE was abusive. While today it is very clear that the government Albanian has taken the decision to postpone the increase in electricity for 100 thousand families out of fear and not reason. Given the situation in which Albanian families are today, the economic situation and the difficult situation of the middle class that is deeply affected by this unmotivated price increase.

Since ERE has not yet taken such a decision that will help 100 thousand families, we asked for an urgent meeting of ERE and a clear decision to overturn the decision that the same board made a week ago. In this time of crisis, it is vital that the financial and economic health of Albanian families is primary and more important than anything else. That's why we are waiting from moment to moment for the urgent meeting of the board to take the right decision in favor of the Albanians," writes Tabaku in a post on social networks.
