Prime Minister Edi Rama participated this evening in the festival of the village of Vajzë in Vlorë, where during his speech, there was no shortage of jokes and sarcasm.

Rama said that his speech at this event was unexpected, as he had not been announced that he would be giving a speech.

"It's unexpected for me because I wasn't informed that I would say anything, but I will try to survive ," he said with humor.

The Prime Minister thanked the organizers of the celebration, indicating that he had received the invitation for the fourth year in a row, but this time he had decided to participate.

"4 years is enough to have confidence that the idea works. So I believe it is the right time to come and witness, together with others, the success of an idea born 4 years ago ," said Rama.

During his speech, the Prime Minister also greeted the guests, including former President Bamir Topi, as well as the Prefect of Tirana, who he ironically said was probably there because they were "friends of the Girl."

Batuta also had a rant about the head of the Albanian National Olympic Committee, Fidel Ylli, whom Rama said that until he arrived at the event, he thought he was "from Skrapar", but added with humor that he was also "a friend of Vajza".

Rama also addressed the mayor of Selenica, Nertil Bella, thanking him for "promoting the sea to the top of the mountain, with the salt water together," in another joke during the speech.

The Prime Minister also greeted the Minister of Local Government Ervin Demo, saying that he was there to see how the Municipality of Selenica functions.

At the end, Rama addressed the judge who had presented the event, thanking her for her speech and humorously commenting on her outfit.

"Thank you very much to the judge for this presentation that was truly impressive from the beginning, plus this outfit that is not typical for a person who has passed the vetting ," said Rama, causing laughter and applause.

The Prime Minister concluded his speech with another joke:

"So thank you all and I wish you a pleasant festival, even more and better next year. But what is important is that you have the judicial power with you here. Thank you very much!"
