Protest against the Special Court in Pristina, Rama: I wonder why the Assembly

In Pristina, a protest was held under the motto "against injustice" by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague against former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), organised by war-torn groups.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on his Facebook account, shared a photo from the protest in the square, as he writes "I wonder why the Assembly of Kosovo has not raised its voice through a resolution and aligned the violations of the process against former KLA soldiers.

"I continue to wonder why the Assembly of Kosovo has not yet raised its voice through a resolution without party differences, where the factual violations of the elementary democratic norm of due legal process by the Hague Tribunal are aligned, where the rights of Hashim Thaçi and his comrades isolated from the world for years now, have been kicked like nothing?!

Of course, in the event that the Assembly of Kosovo were to make this resolution delayed, we would immediately engage the Assembly of Albania, to vote on the same text and to convey the voice of all Albanians in every democratic state that sponsors the Tribunal, and which should not tolerate any violation and no longer the annihilation of the due legal process with the financial contribution of its taxpayers", writes Rama.
