The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a press conference, read an "article" of the draft new Criminal Code, which talks about "forced marriages" and the imprisonment of people who put pressure on young people to get married.
But what Sali Berisha actually considered "an absurd article", is a meme that circulates on social networks and that has confused many others who have not managed to understand the irony.
Berisha in his reaction has not spared criticism of the creators of the Criminal Code, targeting Edi Rama in particular.
At the end of the conference, his associates brought him a letter with a note, but the head of the DP did not make any further clarification, closing the press conference.
"Can you imagine now, tell me? You are lucky that you are married", Berisha addressed journalists at the conference, adding that: "If you had been single, your mothers would have been able to go, for the dearest feelings for you and your future, they could go to prison for 3 years if they dared to tell them 'mother's daughter, the time is to get married, A mother will see a couple', like any mother who has it for her son and daughter. Imagine where this goes and this is called a forced marriage. It is written, I have the article here."
