Parliament "dissolves" the RTSH Steering Council, dismissing 10 members and the chairman

The majority and the opposition have come together in parliament, dissolving the RTSH Steering Council.

The members who were dismissed from parliament today are Gëzim Podgorica, Genc Përmeti, Leka Bungo. Also dismissed were Ilir Keko, Albert Minga, Dionis Papadhimitri, Ängjëll Ndocaj, Edmond Tullumani, Mevlan Shanaj, Milena Selimi and Ardita Reçi.

The crisis at RTSH began after the scandal in the race to elect the Director General. The process has now been suspended, while the request for the dismissal of the Board of Directors was made at the request of the Media Commission.
