SP and DP unite votes, amendments to the Electoral Code for the diaspora are approved

After debates in a marathon session, the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party have joined forces in parliament by approving new amendments to the Electoral Code, which aim to facilitate the diaspora vote.

The draft amendments were approved with 108 votes in favor and with the consent of President Bajram Begaj, and the amendments enter into force immediately.
