The EU-Western Balkans summit, which will be held on December 6 in Tirana, is the first summit of its kind to take place in the Western Balkans region.
The summit is part of the implementation of the European Council's Strategic Agenda 2019-2024, and is considered an opportunity to reaffirm the key importance of the strategic partnership between the EU and the Western Balkans, a region with a clear perspective towards the EU.
