DP MP Dashnor Sula told News24 today that he wants and expects that there will be an agreement and merger of the DP for the local elections held next year.

Sula declared that the base, both parties together, have chosen the candidates for Peqini and Mirdites, and they will be from the pulpit, but the democratic deputy said that they also enjoy his support. Sula revealed a detail regarding Peqini, when he said that the candidate is a doctor.

The deputy also said that the division in the PD did not come from ordinary deputies, but from Sali Berisha and Lulzim Basha.

Dashnor Sula:  I would like and I have the great hope that all the senior leaders of the DP, from Berisha, Alibeaj, Noka, or Bardhi and from the wing where I belong, we care that the elections will come out with a common candidate and defeat this regime that is taking everyone's breath away. I don't say it for propaganda, but we are all experiencing a difficult economic situation and other problems.

I have appealed since September 10, 2021, 'I am begging Berisha to make it impossible for us not to split'. This crisis did not come from ordinary deputies, but from two people, one person who never became the real president and one person who never left as president.

I like one thing, that all colleagues from our side, we have not stretched our fist to the end, in my statements I have never mentioned Berisha's non-women... we were and are brothers. I and my opponents in personal insults never go.

However, we must leave these things, for the sake of those people who voted for us, and I am and will be in my area, I wish and hope and I will fight to be with a common candidate, in Peqin it is determined will be candidates from the pulpit.

On Saturday we will be at a work meeting and the candidate from the pulpit that we have blessed will be there.

Even Mirdita has closed it, in principle the parties are together and have said in the best sense of the word that we will ignore the problems from above. In Peqin, he is a doctor, he enjoys the respect of the citizens, as he was answered at two in the morning on his way home.
