"I am not a DP MP," says Mesila Doda in a reaction regarding the decision she made to be an independent MP.

Doda claims that he was not consulted about the groups created in parliament, while emphasizing that he will continue to defend the causes of the opposition and the PDIU.

"I am an opposition and PDIU MP. I have not been consulted on the configurations of the groups that have been created. I will continue to uphold the causes of the opposition and PDIU. There is no joint opposition group like there was in the elections where it would be normal for us all to be part of it," Doda told Top Channel.

In the statement that Doda made in the Assembly, she stated that she is not part of any parliamentary group, distancing herself from the Democratic Party.

Sali Berisha gave the opportunity to his two allies, Ilir Meta and Fatmir Mediu, to create their own parliamentary group, but Mesila Doda preferred not to be in either the DP group or Fatmir Mediu's group, which grouped all the allies together, including the leader of the PBDNJ, Vangjel Dule.
