The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, shared how he received the notification of the lifting of sanctions by the US. In an interview for the show “Off the Record” on A2CNN, Berisha said that he received a call from the US charge d’affaires in Tirana, VanHorn.
"I was officially notified by phone by the US charge d'affaires in Tirana, Ms. VanHorn. She told me that Secretary Rubio had decided that I was not on the list of banned persons. I had no other sanction," said Berisha.
The head of the blue headquarters noted that he has considered a trip to America, which he said will take place at the most appropriate time.
"I will definitely go. I have not applied for a visa because I will go at the most appropriate moment. This is not the moment I will go. I will definitely go. I have not scheduled any meetings. I will schedule meetings as soon as possible. I have not been there for 14-15 years. After I left, I limited my travels a lot," said Berisha.
