New details have been revealed from the fight registered this afternoon in Korça, between the chairman of the DP of this city's branch, Devis Osmani, and a group section secretary of this party, Eduart Topalli.

Sources indicate that initially there was a verbal fight between them in a bar at the entrance of Korça and then it degenerated into a collision with hard objects.

Eduart Topalli claims that it was the head of the branch, Devis Osmani, who hit him first and then he retaliated by shooting him in the head with a bottle.

After the conflict, Devis Osmani appeared with blood on his face, while other people were also present at the scene.

The police are reported to have arrived at the scene after receiving the notification and are interrogating the leaders and members of the PD branch.

The conflict between Osmani and Topalli started about a year ago due to the disagreements regarding the direction of the DP of Korça, a branch where this political force has appeared divided since the parliamentary elections of 2021.

A good part of Korça's democrats do not recognize the chairman Devis Osmani nor the new Presidency elected after the arrival of Berisha at the head of the DP, claiming that the elections were manipulated and the list of the Presidency was made by the chairman.

The center's Democratic Party initially scheduled new elections for the Presidency, but they were postponed a day before they were to be held by the party's court. However, even though the center had scheduled new elections, the chairman Devis Osmani convened the Presidency in opposition to the center before the new elections were postponed by the court.
