Democratic deputy Belind Kelliçi, rumored to be the DP candidate for the capital's municipality, has given a racist and insulting statement to the residents of Tirana.

Asked by journalist Endri Xhafo on the show "Log." whether he is friends with Veliaj, Kelliçi replied that he is offended by this question since he is not new to Tirana. And while it was noticed that he lost the votes of newcomers with this answer, Kelliçi showed arrogance by saying that he was not worried about this part. It is not known what his party chairman, Sali Berisha, thinks about this statement, since he is also a newcomer to Tirana.

Kelliçi: Far be it. All I can admit to myself, this question is an insult to me. I am not the same generation as him, nor am I new to Tirana.

Kelliçi: Don't worry, leave this part to me, I'm not a candidate, I love Tirana.
