Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi has ironized the Government, which aims for a wider spread of artificial intelligence in institutions.
During his speech in the Assembly, Korreshi said ironically that in the countryside people are still plowing, while the Government talks about artificial intelligence.
Korreshi made the comments while the draft law "On the ratification of the Council of Europe Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence, Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law" was being discussed in the Parliament.
Korreshi also accused the Socialist Party of illegally obtaining any data from citizens through patronage.
"We from the village are still at the plow, you are taking us to Artificial Intelligence. I have seen that the health centers do not even have lights, the electricity has not even gone. How will that nurse or doctor in these health centers do it, to enter your system. By what miracle will they enter.
Will you go shopping to find a camera with artificial intelligence? This is your artificial intelligence. You started with Diella, you got some money. The actress said take off my muzzle because you've got me on your neck. This is the situation. Then you say we'll put cameras in schools, cameras here and there. Have you ever seen how the systems work today? Go to the Cadastre, ASHK wasn't working for 3 months because the magic wasn't working.
We took the miracles from Lushnja on our backs and took them to Fier. You have the clocks on the road, the cows are trampling them, the donkeys are eating them, you call it Smart City. Don't even take away our data from the villagers, because there are no patrons of yours who don't even know our foot size, whether we have torn socks or not, whether we have cut our nails or not. They do that work since morning", said Korreshi, among other things.
