The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during his speech at the plenary session in the Parliament, spoke about the sentencing of former KLA leaders by the Special Court in The Hague.

Berisha stated that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Edi Rama are responsible for Wednesday's decision.

"Finally, your Godfather, after what happened in The Hague, if there is anyone more directly responsible for what happened, it is Aleksandar Vučić and his servant Edi Rama. Where do you have him now, have you seen him open his mouth, tell me a little what he said? Tell me what word he uttered? Or that minister of his? Because these disappeared. We recall that the former president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi , and Jakup Krasniqi were sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Rexhep Selimi was sentenced to 13 years in prison, while Kadri Veseli was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
