The court hearing for former president  Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi has been postponed .

Although Meta and Kryemadhi requested that the trial be held without the presence of lawyers, the absence of a member of the trial panel, Rudina Palloj, caused the hearing to be postponed to September 24.

"What is this court that gives the floor to the prosecutor and not to the defendant? This prosecutor has given us 55 files, we are missing over 70, pages are missing, etc., he is in prison," said Meta.


Presiding judge Erjon Bani warned Meta's lawyer Bujar Musta, who was in the courtroom as a public figure, that if the lawyers did not appear at the next hearing, the application of fines would begin.
