The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted to the overthrow of Dritan Abazovic's government in Montenegro.

Through a post on social networks, Berisha said that Abazovic made history by becoming the first Albanian Prime Minister of Montenegro, but he emphasizes that his tail weighed more than his head, underlining that the agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church was fatal for the progress of his political

According to Berisha, Abazovic made a mistake by siding with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and Prime Minister Edi Rama for the Open Balkans.

Among other things, the chief democrat underlined that Abazovic should not prove himself a Serb more than the Serbs, since they also showed that they do not want him at the head of the government.

"Friends, Dritan Abazovic made history. After General Mark Milani, the voivode of Montenegro of Albanian origin, well-known for his battles against the Albanians and his pro-Albanian memories, Abazovic is the second most important personality and the first Albanian prime minister of Montenegro. Young, energetic pro-European, I welcomed his appointment to that post. But unfortunately for Dritan in office, as our people say, one word weighed more heavily on his tail (calf) than his head. In a fatal mistake, he signed an agreement with the racist Church of Serbia in flagrant opposition to the interests, independence of Montenegro and the interest of Albanians in the neighboring country, an agreement that his Serbian predecessor did not sign either.

Likewise, Abazovic's tail (calf) weighed heavier than his head when he aligned himself with the ultra-nationalist Serbian president Vucic and the latter's vassal Edi Rama in the Open Balkans initiative, a project that opposes the Berlin initiative and establishes Serbian hegemony and influence Russian in the region.

But Abazovic's deal with the racist Serbian Church proved to be like a kiss with Judas he was last night rightfully sacked by the Montenegrin Parliament as the neighboring country's prime minister.

Dritan Abazovic is a young politician and I don't take this as the end of his career, but I hope he learns a lesson and understands that he should not allow his tail (calf) to weigh more than his head and as an Albanian he cannot never prove a Serb more than the Serbs, because the latter and the Serbs themselves showed last night with their vote that they do not accept it!", writes Berisha on Facebook.

After twelve hours of discussion, the Assembly of Montenegro voted in the early hours of the morning no confidence in the government of Dritan Abazovic.

The government was overthrown with 50 votes in favor and one against. After this decision, Abazovic will work in a technical mandate until the election of the new government.
