The US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, reacted after the opening of Albania's negotiations with the European Union.

As he shared the message of American President Joe Biden, Kim wrote that this is a historic step. Furthermore, Kim says that the US will continue to support Albania in the reform of justice as well as in other steps necessary for full membership in the EU.

"Congratulations to Albania for today's First Intergovernmental Conference, a historic, long-awaited step towards full membership in the European Union family. The US will continue to strongly support your justice reform efforts and other steps necessary for membership. Forward," writes Kim.
