SPAK has requested the questioning of former minister Fatmir Mediu. The next session at GJKKO for the Gërdec tragedy will be held on February 21.

In a statement to the media, the former Minister of Defense, commenting on the non-appearance of the former Chief of General Staff, Luan Hoxha, requested that the witnesses not be questioned.

"In this judicial process, for some time now, there has been no witness called by the prosecution who has said that the minister has even an iota of guilt. The detonation process was called by the structures of the Ministry of Defense that are no longer related to the Ministry's field of activity.

As for the continuation of the process, I call on everyone to come. They should not choose the position of silence because it would be good to shed as much light as possible with their testimonies" - said Mediu.
