Gazment Bardhi: On Monday I will submit the file with the new data on the Rama-McGonigal case to SPAK!

The Chairman of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted after the publication of new data by the US Department of Justice regarding the McGonigal dossier, describing this development as an alarm bell for SPAK and as proof that this issue cannot be forgotten or closed in silence.

In a reaction on Facebook, Bardhi announced that on Monday he will officially present to the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office all the new information made public by the American authorities.

"Also, in accordance with the rights recognized by the criminal procedural law, I will re-request information on the investigation of this matter and the investigative actions that have been carried out during this time, hoping that this time SPAK will not prohibit me from publishing the information by decision. Citizens have the right to have full transparency on this investigation and its progress. No one can be treated as untouchable and above the law," Bardhi writes.

Gazment Bardhi's REACTION:

The publication of the file with new data on the Rama-McGonigal affair by the US Department of Justice is mostly an alarm bell for the Special Prosecution Office that this case can never be forgotten.

As the whistleblower of this affair in SPAK, on ??Monday I will officially present to the special prosecutors the new data made public by the US Department of Justice, with the hope that this new development there will dust off the criminal file in Albania.

Also, in accordance with the rights granted to me by criminal procedural law, I will re-request information on the investigation of this matter and the investigative actions that have been conducted during this time, hoping that this time SPAK will not prohibit me from publishing the information by decision.

Citizens have the right to full transparency about this investigation and its progress. No one can be treated as untouchable and above the law.
