Democratic MP Gazment Bardhi reacted to Prime Minister Rama's statements in the conference with journalists today. Bardhi writes that Prime Minister Rama has no interest in making any reforms that serve Albanian citizens.

"Edi Rama has no interest in making any reforms that serve Albanian citizens. The public assertion that he is consciously burning the Electoral Reform Commission not to give Albanians a consensual and comprehensive reform that guarantees the minimum standards for free and fair elections, shows once again the dangerous anti-democratic mindset that the Prime Minister of Albania has to maintain power with anti-democratic means", writes Bardhi.

He adds that Rama's statements prove how fair the opposition's struggle in the Assembly is and that Albania needs a real, consensual and comprehensive Electoral Reform that addresses all the recommendations of the OSCE-ODIHR.

"Today's statements by Edi Rama once again prove that the fight of the opposition in the Assembly is right. Cyprus needs a real, consensual and comprehensive Electoral Reform that addresses all the recommendations of the OSCE-ODIHR and that creates equal conditions of real competition for every political party in the elections", writes Bardhi.
