The race for the head of the FRPD, 6 names to replace Kellici

After nearly 7 years at the head of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party, Belind Këlliçi has given up the leadership of the democratic youth, sticking to his mandate as a member of parliament.

In the race that started a few weeks ago, 6 young people have been involved who, during the long years of opposition to the DP, have engaged in the political actions of the Democrats in Tirana, but also in the districts.

Part of the race for the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party are Alesia Balliu, Arnold Kariqi, Artion Barjamaj, Barbara Doda, Besart Xhaferri and Mariglent Doçi. Lawyers, architects, journalists and economists are part of the race for the DP youth forum.

Beyond running forums in other districts, candidates seek to be the leaders of young Democrats across the country.

The last race of the DP youth forum was a strong springboard towards politics for Belind Këlliç, Ervin Salianj and Ori Nebiaj, but do they see this race as a golden opportunity to grow politically even the candidates involved in this race?

The positioning of FRPD youth alongside Sali Berisha moved a lot of water within the Democrats until Berisha became the head of the Party. But as they look for spaces to have more of their representation and talk about a new policy in the Democratic Party, do the candidates of the DP Youth Forum feel comfortable when Sali Berisha is back at the head of the DP?

The race for the new head of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party will be held on October 1 through the one-way-one-vote principle in all DP branches.
