Prime Minister Edi Rama's strong speech before the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe where he directly asked to overturn the resolution approved 11 years ago, on the basis of Dick Marty's report, has disturbed European right-wing parties.

The group of European People's and Christian Democratic Parties (PPE/DC) has rejected Rama's invitation to a working dinner, where he had invited the heads of the participating states.

"With my deep regret, after the intervention this afternoon in the Assembly of the Prime Minister of Albania Mr. Edi Rama, the Presidential Committee has made a decision to reject the invitation of the Prime Minister for a working dinner", said the head of this group, Aleksandër Pociej

It was the PD deputy, Belind Kelliçi, who also made public the email of the cancellation of the invitation to Edi Ramë.

"'After the shameful, arrogant and insulting words today to the MEPs, the leadership of the Council of Europe retracts and cancels the invitation to the working dinner addressed to the Prime Minister of Albania. Our country deserves more, it deserves a Prime Minister and a normal government and not a clown in a circus palace!", writes Belind Këlliçi on Facebook.

During his speech at KiE, Rama emphasized that Dick Marty's report is a pure fantasy, well fabricated in the Kremlin and very intelligently trafficked and smuggled into the channels of international politics and brought here to the temple of human rights .

Rama compared former president Hashim Thaçi with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenksi.

"Thinking about what I told you before, try to imagine President Zelensky 10 years later, becoming part of something so surreal as President Thaçi is today because the Kremlin and Moscow have already started to say that there is trafficking. So, be prepared for that."

Prime Minister Edi Rama invited the Assembly to recognize Kosovo by its real name and accept it in the Council as an independent state.

Regarding the numerous positions in the Assembly of the Serbian, Romanian, Greek and Swiss representatives regarding the speech, Rama described the statements to the media as normal.

"I will feel it as indifference. The fact that there was so much debate showed that the message went deep. The thing is more serious than I said. It's like a bomb in the middle of the morning. A soup is cooked. This story about organ trafficking goes beyond Hashim Thaçi".

After the submission of Albania's official request for the review of the resolution approved for Dick Marty's report, the Assembly of the Council of Europe is expected to consider it in the session of January next year.
