The son of Rexhep Meidani is appointed ambassador of Albania in North Macedonia

President Bajram Begaj decreed today the appointment of Denion Meidani, the son of former president Rexhep Meidani, as the ambassador of Albania in North Macedonia.

Mediani, at the time he was a candidate for ambassador, guaranteed commitment to the implementation of the agreements signed between the two countries, attention to the Albanian language law, the Ohrid agreement, and the promotion of direct investments.

Meanwhile, the previous ambassador, Fatos Reka, has been relieved of his duties.
