Blendi Sulaj has reacted after being dismissed from the position of deputy mayor for territorial control of the Municipality of Tirana. In a post on social networks, he thanked the Municipality staff for their cooperation, while praising the work of the deputy mayors, directors and administration employees.

He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Edi Rama for his trust and support during this period, highlighting his commitment to freeing up public spaces and demolishing unauthorized constructions.

Sulaj announced that he will engage in the electoral campaign in support of the Socialist Party and the candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Ogerta Manastirliu, who has not yet been officially confirmed as a candidate.

Dear friends,

For a year now, I have held the position of Deputy Mayor for Territory Control in the Municipality of Tirana. I would like to share with you my highest appreciation for the Deputy Mayors, directors of departments, heads of sectors and every ordinary employee of the Municipality of Tirana. They are people who work with passion every day to serve the citizens, and often not in normal working conditions.

I want to thank Prime Minister Rama for the trust and support he gave me during this time, where we led the release of public spaces and the demolition of unauthorized constructions.

I will eagerly and energetically dedicate myself to the electoral challenge in support of the Socialist Party and candidate Ogerta Manastirliu.

The beautiful Tirana of Albanians, for which we will all work.
