A migrant trafficking network from Albania to Greece has been busted by Greek police in cooperation with Europol.
During the operation in Thessaloniki and Thesprot, 10 people were arrested, including a 33-year-old Albanian woman.
According to investigations, the organization had trafficked over 500 migrants since June 2025, through 41 illegal border crossings.
The migrants walked through mountain paths and were then transported to Greek cities, where some of them were exploited for work without regular documents.
The network's illegal profits are estimated at at least 750 thousand euros.
During the operation, 21 immigrants without regular residence documents were also arrested, while vehicles, money, phones and passports were seized.
Investigations are continuing to identify other people involved.
