The government's concern that the protests have damaged tourism across the country is not the Democratic Party's concern.
Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha says it is not the protests that are preventing tourists from arriving, but the devaluation of the euro.
"The truth is today that like never before, the country's beaches are empty, not half empty, but much more than half empty, from Saranda to Shëngjin and above. And the most destructive factor for tourism, the most toxic, is the narcoeuro, which has fallen by 32 percent. And now for all this, they blame the protest for tourism," Berisha said.
He says that Rama is using the police, the administration, and the SHISH to harm the protest, while he once again asked his own people to ignore the calls against the DP in the protest.
"Edi Rama, in addition to the total engagement of the criminal police, which is more criminal than any other gang, of the national intelligence service, which coordinates all practices with Belgrade, has mobilized thousands of salaried employees, state administration employees in creating fake accounts on social media, on social networks to demonize the protest and the protesters, to reduce their visibility and to influence the algorithm, which according to him was controlled by Iran," Berisha said.
Focusing on reforms, at the parliamentary group meeting, Berisha said that the fact that Rama broke the consensus on Territorial Reform is worrying.
