The Democratic Party already has one deputy less. As expected, Enkelejd Alibeaj submitted to the protocol of the Assembly the request to leave the PD group.

Alibeaj's decision came after Apeli gave the party's seal and logo to Sali Berisha, declared "Non Grata" by the USA and Great Britain, while he is under house arrest on charges of corruption.

In the argument he made, after announcing the decision, Alibeaj said that his choice is a sign of respect for the court's decision, stating that he does not join the DP parliamentary group led by Berisha.
